Smart phone are one of the many devices that have been very beneficial to us. With smart phones, we can communicate with our families and friends, as well as enabling us to access a plethora of information with the Internet and many others. Smart phones has truly made our lives much easier than before, as tasks that were hard to do are made easier now.

But, smart phones often have a limited battery life. Smart phones, including the new smart phone, can only last for 10-16 hours. If used with other accessories, however, you can extend it to 14-20 hours, which is still not good. Using other accessories like the a case and a screen protector to protect your battery pack from being damaged can also help in increasing your battery output. But this only produces little benefit. Hence, it is important for you to make use of a battery charger. Also, you will need to choose which type of charger you should use. Listed below are the two most common types of smart phone chargers, listing their advantages and disadvantages.

Home chargers are very common, as it is usually included with your smart phone purchase. If your home charger breaks down, a cheap replacement can be found on your local electronics store. Home chargers let you charge your smart phone as long as you find a compatible electrical outlet. This type of charger can quickly power up your smart phone or smart phone battery pack(s); it only takes 2-3 hours to fully charge a smart phone / smart phone battery pack. For a smart phone owner, this is very vital, as you would want your smart phone to be fully charged at all times so that you can use its many features.

But, as the name implies, home chargers are not portable. You can only use home chargers at home, which is very impractical especially if you don't stay on the house often. So for people who are always on the go, home chargers are not the right type of charger for you. Instead, they should use portable chargers, like the more mobile car chargers.

If you are out for long periods of time, then car chargers are the right type of chargers for you. Car chargers, as the name implies, can only be used in cars and other vehicles which has a cigarette lighter socket. With these types of chargers, you can charge your smart phone, as well as your spare battery packs, easily. Just plug the car charger in the cigarette lighter socket and let it charge your phone. Car chargers come in different types, as different smart phone brands have their own unique phone sockets. With a car charger, you can charge your smart phone anytime and anywhere.

Just like home chargers, car chargers have their own disadvantages too. If you need to charge your smart phone with a car charger, you will need to wait longer. For example, you can fully charge your smart phone in 2 hours. Car chargers, however, take 3-5 hours to fully charge a battery. Also, finding the right charger for your smart phone can be really hard, especially for new and upcoming smart phone models like this smart phone. But no matter how inconvenient these disadvantages may be, its advantages outweigh these disadvantages. If you are seeking more information regarding these devices you can look at the HTC One forum online. There is even the HTC One X forum, HTC One XL forum, HTC One S forum and the HTC One V forum that focus on a specific aspect.
