Apple, PC Laptops, And Mobile Technology

By Brandon Arrow

I bought my first apple computer in 2008. I knew nothing at all about apple the company or their computers. I was at best buy looking for a new laptop after my previous laptop was stolen. One of the sales representatives came up and ask if i could use some help. The sales man inquired what computer i was most interested in. At that time i didn't know much about computers. I wasn't sure what i wanted to purchase. So after looking around he decided to show me the mac book that was on display. The laptop was great, i hadn't seen another like it. When i saw the price though, i wanted to faint. Apple laptops are priced 2 to 3 times higher than your average PC laptop, but then he explained why.

When you purchase a mac book, you are buying one of the best working laptops made. They work very efficiently, being able to handle multiple task without slowing down or freezing. Then i found out that mac's are virus proof. The don't get them. Ever since i bought my mac book, i've never had to by any type of anti-adware software for it. It may not be impossible for macs to get viruses, but it sure is pretty difficult. The only issue i have found is some software won't work very well on macs. They usually have alternate ways or programs for problems like this.

I recently received another PC computer i needed to run some programs that don't function very well on mac. I felt utterly disappointed. I actually enjoyed windows 7, but i was completely disgusted with the computer itself. It's an Acer laptop, brand new 2012 model. My mac book is at least 4 years old, and can out work the Acer laptop with ease. I was utterly disappointed in with Acer and their new device. I'm not trying to say all PC computers are bad. I'm just saying the Acer i had sure did suck. So my advice to anybody reading this is do your research before you buy your next computer. Read reviews and see for yourself what computer is right for you.

I actually got another opportunity at trying a PC laptop. I was fortunate enough to be able to try a Samsung series 7. This one was so much better than the Acer I tried. This Samsung's battery life was amazing. I used it for for over 5 hours and still had plenty of battery life left. I really enjoyed the touch pad it had, it was similar to the Ipad but with an added feature. If you pressed on the right corner, it would perform a right click action like a normal mouse would. Clicking in the middle or left side would act like a regular touch pad. I really enjoyed the new windows explore too. It had some new features i hadn't seen before. I don't have any complaints to make about this device. It would perform everything task you wanted effortlessly. It has 8 GB of ram, a 8-cell lithium-polymer battery. What makes it such a good bargain is the price, you can buy it for under a 1000 dollars. Try looking on best buy for more details.

Cell phones have been in the news lately, specifically Iphone and at&t. They have been using some kind of monitoring software. Some of their software that is suppose to only capture signal information has been picking up text messages. Their software was resembling text monitoring software. At&t and apple are both currently battling lawsuits with more than 60 Iphone users who have found this software on their devices. People don't seem to like having their text messages stolen from their phones. It was like they had text message monitoring software installed on their devices.
